Description
The LTC1257CS8#TR is a complete single supply, 12-bit voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) in an SO-8 package. It features an output buffer amplifier, a 2.048V voltage reference, and an easy-to-use three-wire cascadable serial interface. The LTC1257CS8#TR can also be overridden by an external reference to extend its output voltage range up to 12V. With a low power supply current of only 350µA when operating from a 5V supply, this DAC is particularly suitable for battery-powered applications. The LTC1257CS8#TR's space-saving 8-pin SO package and its ability to operate without external components make it the smallest 12-bit DAC system available.
