Description
The VSP 5010PMRG6 is an analog front end (AFE) component mainly used for video processing. It features an integrated video matrix switch, multi-standard color decoder, RGB and YUV input, ITU656 support, noise reduction, and digital scaling of the 1fH and 2fH signals.

- Integrated video matrix switch with up to 7 CVBS inputs, up to 2 Y/C inputs, and 3 CVBS outputs (Y/C inputs signals are combined to CVBS output format).
- 9-bit amplitude resolution for CVBS, Y/C A/D converter.
- AGC (Automatic Gain Control).
- Multi-standard color decoder for PAL/NTSC/SECAM including all substandards.
- Automatic recognition of chroma standard.
- RGB-FBL or YUV-H-V input with 8-bit amplitude resolution for RGB or YUV, and 8-bit amplitude resolution for FBL or H.
- ITU656 support including ITU656 input/output and DS656 output (double-scan ‘656-like’ output).
- Letterbox detection and noise reduction with temporal noise reduction, field-based temporal noise reduction for luminance and chrominance, and different motion detectors for luminance and chrominance.
- Horizontal scaling of the 1fH signal and flexible digital horizontal scaling of the 2fH signal.
- Embedded memory including on-chip memory controller, embedded DRAM core for field memory, and SRAM for PAL/SECAM delay line.
- Data format 4:2:2.
- Flexible clock and synchronization concept with horizontal line-locked or free-running mode, and vertical locked or free-running mode.
