Description
The R1223N252A-TR-FA is an IC chip in the PWM step-down DC/DC converter category. It is designed with a CMOS process and has a low supply current. It consists of various circuits like an oscillator, a PWM control circuit, a reference voltage unit, an error amplifier, a soft-start circuit, a protection circuit, a PWM/VFM alternative circuit, a chip enable circuit, and resistors for voltage detection. With only four external components (a power-transistor, an inductor, a diode, and a capacitor), it can easily create a low ripple and high-efficiency step-down DC/DC converter.
