Description
The IT8720F is a highly integrated Super I/O electronic component model produced by ITE TECH. INC. It provides the most commonly used legacy Super I/O functionality along with a fan speed controller and a Smart Card Reader Interface. The IT8720F features a Low Pin Count Interface which complies with Intel "LPC Interface Specification Rev. 1.0". It is ACPI & LANDesk compliant and includes a PC/SC and ISO 7816 compliant Smart Card Reader. With two 16C550 UARTs, one IEEE 1284 Parallel Port, one Floppy Disk Controller, and one 8042 Keyboard Controller, it offers a comprehensive set of features.
