Description
The LM358N is a dual low power operational amplifier that is commonly used in electronic circuits. It features low power consumption, a wide common mode input voltage range, and can operate with a single or split power supply. The pinouts of the LM358N are compatible with the popular MC1558 dual operational amplifier. This series is equivalent to one-half of an LM124.
One of the advantages of the LM358N over standard operational amplifiers is its ability to operate at low supply voltages as low as 3.0 V and as high as 32 V. It has low quiescent currents, making it suitable for power-sensitive applications. The common mode input range includes the negative supply, eliminating the need for external biasing components in many applications. The output voltage range also includes the negative power supply voltage.
