Description
The CY7C84215 is an electronic component model falls under the product category of IC chips. It is a first-in, first-out (FIFO) memory available in 600-mil wide and 300-mil wide packages. This memory is offered in different sizes: 256, 512, 1,024, 2,048, and 4,096 words, each with a width of 9 bits. It is also organized to enable sequential reading of data, just as it was written. The memory offers full and empty flags that help to prevent overruns and underruns. The memory is also expandable in width, depth, or both, by steering control signals from one device to another in parallel, without reducing throughput. Upon expansion, data is steered similarly.
