Description
The ISL6561CR is a multi-phase PWM controller designed for microprocessor core voltage regulation. It can drive up to 4 synchronous-rectified buck channels in parallel, using interleaved timing to multiply channel ripple frequency and reduce ripple currents. This results in lower component cost, reduced power dissipation, and a smaller implementation area. The ISL6561CR features a high bandwidth control loop and ripple frequencies of more than 4MHz, providing optimal response to load transients.
