Description
The LM2937IMP-5.0/NOPB is a linear voltage regulator used to regulate voltage and is capable of supplying up to 500mA of load current. It is a PNP transistor-based regulator used as a positive voltage regulator, which provides low dropout voltage characteristics. The minimum input to output voltage differential required for the output to remain in regulation is typically 0.5V (1V guaranteed maximum over the full operating temperature range). It has special circuitry to minimize the quiescent current, which is typically only 10mA with a full 500mA load current when the input to output voltage differential is greater than 3V.
