Description
The BQ4845YS-A4N is a real-time clock (RTC) electronic component model designed and produced by UNITRODE. It is primarily used as a low-power microprocessor peripheral that provides an accurate time-of-day clock and 100-year calendar with alarm features. The BQ4845YS-A4N is an ideal replacement for the IBM® AT-compatible computers and other similar applications.
The product's features include a direct clock/calendar replacement for IBM® AT-compatible computers, 114 bytes of general nonvolatile storage, three maskable interrupt sources, selectable Intel or Motorola bus timing, automatic backup and write protect control to external SRAM, and a programmable square wave output.
