Description
The RT9167A-29PB is a low dropout and low noise micropower regulator suitable for portable applications. It is designed for use with very low ESR capacitors and remains stable even with a 1μF ceramic output capacitor. The RT9167A-29PB uses an internal PMOS as the pass device, which prevents extra GND current in heavy load and dropout conditions. It has a shutdown mode with nearly zero operation current, making it suitable for battery-powered devices. Other features include a reference bypass pin to improve low noise performance, current limiting, and over-temperature protection.
