The A82385-25 is a multi-function support peripheral that integrates system functions necessary in an i386 processor environment. It has eight channels of high performance 32-bit DMA with efficient transfer rates on the i386 microprocessor bus. The A82385-25 also provides Interrupt Control, Timers, Wait State Generation, DRAM Refresh Control, and System Reset logic.Specifications and features
The A82385-25 features a high performance 32-bit DMA Controller with a maximum data transfer rate of 40 Mbytes/sec at 20 MHz. It has eight independently programmable channels and a 20-source interrupt controller with individually programmable interrupt vectors. The A82385-25 also includes four 16-bit programmable interval timers, a programmable wait state generator, a DRAM refresh controller, and i386TM Processor Shutdown Detect and Reset Control.Application Scenarios
