Description

The ADM809JART is an electronic component in the category of supervisors. It is a supervisory circuit that monitors the power supply voltage in microprocessor systems. It provides a reset output during power-up, power-down, and brownout conditions. The internal timer holds the reset asserted for 240 ms on power-up, which keeps the microprocessor in a reset state until conditions have stabilized. The reset output remains operational even with a minimum VCC of 1V. The ADM809JART provides an active low reset signal (RESET) while the ADM810 provides an active high signal (RESET) output. The reset comparator features built-in glitch immunity, making it immune to fast transients on VCC. The ADM809JART consumes only 17µA, making it suitable for low power portable equipment.
