Description
The 31-71008 is a fixed frequency Pulse Width Modulator based on the industry standard UC1843x Series. It operates in either voltage or current mode and supports various converter topologies. This chip is radiation hardened, with outstanding radiation tolerance of over 1MRads. It has under voltage lockout with hysteresis and a sleep function to power down the entire chip. The PWM5031 also features an enable input to shut down the oscillator/output drives and a soft input to drive the output to zero. It has dual output drivers capable of sourcing and sinking 50mA constant current and peaks of up to 1 Amp, making it suitable for a wide range of power MOSFETs.
