The Broadcom BCM5389IFBG is a highly integrated solution ideal for standalone Gigabit Ethernet switches and control plane applications. This device combines all the functions required for a high-speed switch system into a single 0.13 µm CMOS device. It complies with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, and 802.3x specifications, making it compatible with standard Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit Ethernet devices.
