Description
The CY7C028-12AC is a low-power CMOS dual-port static RAM chip designed for various applications, including interprocessor/multiprocessor designs, communication status buffering, and dual-port video/graphics memory. It features true dual-ported memory cells that allow simultaneous access of the same memory location, on-chip arbitration logic, semaphores for software handshaking between ports, and INT flags for port-to-port communication. The device offers fully asynchronous operation, automatic power-down, and expandable data bus to 32/36 bits or more using Master/Slave chip select when using more than one device.
