Description
The CY7C2308SC-1H is a first-in first-out (FIFO) memory offered in 300-mil wide packages. It has a capacity of 2,048 words by 9 bits wide. The memory is organized in a way that data is read in the same sequential order that it was written. It comes with full and empty flags that are provided to prevent overrun and underrun, respectively. Additionally, it has three extra pins to facilitate unlimited expansion in width, depth, or both. It utilizes the depth expansion technique that steers the control signals from one device to another in parallel, thereby eliminating the serial addition of propagation delays and ensuring that throughput is not reduced.
