This is a high-speed CMOS dual-port static RAM that carries the electronic component model number CY7C142-45DC. It has a true dual-ported memory cell, which allows simultaneous reads of the same memory location. It is a standalone 8-bit dual-port static RAM that can be utilized as a MASTER dual-port RAM or a buffred data cache memory when paired with the CY7C142/CY7C146 SLAVE dual-port device in systems requiring 16-bit or greater word widths. It is suitable for applications where shared or buffered data is required such as in DSP, bit-slice, or multiprocessor designs.
