The 24C16N SI27 is an IC chip that belongs to the non-volatile electrically erasable memory category. It has a total of 16,384 bits of memory, conforming to all the necessary specifications in the Standard IIC 2-wire protocol. With simplified PC board layout requirements, the device pin count has been reduced to a minimum. The upper 8Kbit half of the memory section can be made unalterable by connecting the WP pin to VCC, ensuring data security.
