The AMIS−30521/NCV70521 is a micro-stepping stepper motor driver for bipolar stepper motors. It is a dual H-bridge type programmable Peak-Current driver with 7 step modes ranging from full step-up to 32 micro-steps. It is designed to be connected through I/O pins and SPI interface with an external microcontroller hence allowing for stall detection algorithms and control loops based on load-angle to adjust the torque and speed. The chip provides reliable current control through its proprietary PWM algorithm and is fully integrated with current-sense and full output protection and diagnosis.
