The 74LV595D is a low-voltage, Si-gate CMOS device that functions as a pin-compatible shifting register with 74HC/HCT595. It is optimized for low voltage applications between the range of 1.0V to 3.6V and has TTL input levels that range between VCC = 2.7V and VCC = 3.6V.
