Description
The AP1601M8LA is a high-efficiency step-up DC-DC converter designed for electronic applications that use a single NiMH or Li-Ion battery cell. With only four external components, the converter can deliver a fixed output voltage of 3.3V. The converter can start up with a load of 1mA even with input voltage lower than 0.9V. It uses the Pulse Frequency Modulation scheme, which ensures optimal performance with low output loading and low input voltages. The converter delivers low output ripple and noise compared to circuits operating in PSM mode.
