The BQ24741RHDRG4 is an integrated charge controller and power management device which is designed for portable applications with space limitations. It can work from an AC adapter or a USB port, and supports charge currents up to 1.5A. It offers a wide input voltage range with overvoltage protection support that handles unregulated adapters. With input dynamic power management (VIN-DPM), this device prevents the charger from being damaged by improperly configured USB sources. The additional feature of input current limit accuracy and start-up sequence allows the BQ24741RHDRG4 to meet USB-IF inrush current specifications, making it fully compliant USB charger.
