Description
The IL250 is a bidirectional input optically coupled isolator, belonging to the Transistor Output Optocouplers category. It consists of two gallium arsenide infrared LEDs coupled to a silicon NPN phototransistor per channel. The IL250 has a minimum CTR of 50%, meaning that it can transfer a maximum of 50% of the light received from the LED to the phototransistor. The IL250 is a single channel optocoupler, whereas the ILD250, which is also a bidirectional input optically coupled isolator, has two isolated channels in a single DIP package.
