Description
The LAN91C111i-NS is a network interface card (NIC) component model offered by SMSC. This third-generation Ethernet connectivity solution is designed for embedded applications, featuring MAC and PHY portions of the CSMA/CD protocol at 10 and 100 Mbps. The LAN91C111i-NS is a mixed signal Analog/Digital component that maximizes data throughput with a 32-bit, 16-bit, or 8-bit bus Host interface. The component is also software compatible with the LAN9000 family of products. It features 8 Kbytes of internal memory for receive and transmit FIFO buffers, along with enhanced power management features.
