    The MKL05Z16VFM4 is a microcontroller unit (MCU) from the KL17 series optimized for cost-sensitive and battery-powered applications that require low-power general-purpose connectivity. It offers a range of features such as embedded ROM with boot loader for flexible program upgrade, high accuracy internal voltage and clock reference, and FlexIO to support any standard and customized serial peripheral emulation. Additionally, the MKL05Z16VFM4 boasts of down to 54uA/MHz power consumption in very low power run mode and 1.96uA in deep sleep mode (RAM + RTC retained).
