Description

The APL5156BI-TRG is a low ground current linear regulator designed for use in USB and portable devices. It operates with an input voltage range of 6.5V to 25V and can deliver an output current of up to 150mA. With a typical dropout voltage of only 1.9V at 150mA loading, this regulator is ideal for applications using 2-cell or 3-cell Li-Ion batteries. It is compatible with aluminum, tantalum, and ceramic capacitors, requiring a 2.2mF or greater capacitor for stability. The APL5156BI-TRG also features various protection functions, including over-temperature, current-limit, reverse battery, and reverse leakage protections, ensuring the safety and reliability of the device.
