The SI4415DY is an electronic component model categorized as IC Chips. It is a switch mode fan speed controller designed for brushless DC fans. This controller utilizes pulse width modulation (PWM) to achieve temperature proportional speed control. It requires a thermistor or other voltage output temperature sensor to provide the control voltage for PWM duty cycle. The minimum fan speed can be set using a resistor divider. With an integrated Start-up Timer, the SI4415DY ensures reliable motor start-up during turn-on, recovery from shutdown mode, or after a transient fault. The controller supports a supply range of 3.0V to 5.5V and is independent of the SI4415DY supply voltage.
