The STV5348AA5 is a computer-controlled teletext decoder that is designed for extracting teletext information from the composite video signal. It features an 8-page internal memory and is a complete teletext and VPS decoder packaged in a single chip. This decoder is upward software compatible with previous ST’s multichip solutions, such as the SAA5231, SDA5243, and STV5345.
