Electronic Component Model: ALC201A is an IC chip commonly used in audio devices. It is a single chip audio CODEC with a high S/N ratio of over 90dB. This chip features a 20-bit DAC and an 18-bit ADC, providing high-quality audio performance.
This chip supports stereo full-duplex CODEC with independent and variable sampling rates. It has 4 analog line-level stereo inputs with a 5-bit volume control, including LINE_IN, CD, VIDEO, and AUX. Additionally, it has 2 analog line-level mono inputs for PC_BEEP and PHONE_IN. The mono output and the stereo output both have volume control, with 5-bit and 6-bit respectively.
ALC201A includes 2 MIC inputs that are software selectable and supports power management and enhanced power-saving features. It also has 3D Stereo Enhancement capabilities and the ability to power down external amplifiers. Compliant with AC'97 2.2 specification, it is designed to deliver high-quality audio performance.
This chip has a variety of features, including multiple CODEC extension, a compliant S/PDIF out with AC'97 rev2.2, 2 GPIO pins, and a digital PLL with a frequency range of 14.318MHz to 24.576MHz. It also supports double sampling rate (96KHz) for DVD audio playback and a +30dB boost preamplifier for MIC input.
Power is supported by a digital supply of 3.3V and analog supply of 3.3V/5V. The ALC201A is packaged in a standard 48-Pin LQFP package.
