The STM32F405OEY6TR is a microcontroller from the STM32F405xx and STM32F407xx family based on the ARM® Cortex™-M4 32-bit RISC core, boasting a frequency of up to 168 MHz. The Cortex-M4 core comes equipped with a single precision Floating point unit (FPU) which supports all ARM single precision data-processing instructions and data types. Additionally, the core contains a full set of DSP instructions and a memory protection unit (MPU) that enhances application security. The Cortex-M4 core with FPU is also referred to as the Cortex-M4F.

The STM32F405OEY6TR is a highly efficient microcontroller with an Adaptive Real-Time Accelerator (ART Accelerator™) that allows 0-wait state execution from its up-to-1 Mbyte flash memory. It provides up to 192+4 Kbytes of SRAM including 64-Kbyte of CCM (core coupled memory) data RAM and flexible static memory controller supporting Compact Flash, SRAM, PSRAM, NOR, and NAND memories. Its low power consumption, Sleep, Stop and Standby modes, and Internal 32 kHz RC with calibration make the STM32F405OEY6TR highly efficient. The microcontroller houses up to 17 timers, up to 140 I/O ports with interrupt capability, and up to 15 communication interfaces, including USB 2.0 full-speed device/host/OTG controller.
