Description
The PVA3354NS is a single-pole, normally open, solid-state AC relay that serves as a replacement for electromechanical relays. It is designed for general-purpose switching of analog signals. By utilizing International Rectifier’s HEXFET power MOSFETs as output switches, driven by an integrated circuit photovoltaic generator, it offers several advantages over conventional relays.
This solid-state relay overcomes the limitations of conventional electromechanical and reed relays by providing long life, fast operating speed, low power consumption, bounce-free operation, low thermal offset voltages, and a compact package. These features make it ideal for applications in process control, multiplexing, automatic test equipment, and data acquisition.
