The MAX4400–MAX4403 is a series of low-cost, general-purpose op amps designed for color sensors. These op amps offer rail-to-rail outputs and operate from a single +2.5V to +5.5V supply. The MAX4401 model also includes a low-power shutdown mode with a 1µA (max) supply current. These devices are capable of delivering ±1.4mA of output current and are unity-gain stable with a 1MHz gain bandwidth product, making them suitable for driving capacitive loads up to 400pF. The MAX4400–MAX4403 op amps are specified to operate at temperatures up to +125°C, making them suitable for use in harsh environments, including automotive applications.
