Description
The RT9168-16CX is a 200mA/500mA low dropout and micropower regulator suitable for portable applications. It is designed for use with very low ESR capacitors and remains stable even with a 1μF ceramic output capacitor. The internal PMOS as the pass device eliminates extra GND current in heavy load and dropout conditions. With nearly zero operation current in shutdown mode, it is highly suitable for battery-powered devices. The RT9168-16CX also features current limiting and over temperature protection. It is available in SOT-23-5 and SOP-8 packages for larger power dissipation and design flexibility.
