Description
The PIC16LF84 is a low-cost, high-performance, CMOS, fully-static, 8-bit microcontroller in the PIC16CXX family. It is part of a group of devices that includes PIC16F83, PIC16CR83, and PIC16CR84. The PICmicro™ microcontrollers employ an advanced RISC architecture, with enhanced core features, eight-level deep stack, and multiple internal and external interrupt sources. With separate instruction and data buses, the PIC16LF84 uses a 14-bit wide instruction word and an 8-bit wide data bus. It features a two-stage instruction pipeline, allowing most instructions to execute in a single cycle. There are 35 instructions available, and it has a large register set for high performance.
