Description
The AMS2907-1.8-TR is a three-terminal adjustable or fixed voltage regulator that is designed to provide a maximum output current of 500mA. It operates down to a 1V input-to-output differential and has a maximum dropout voltage of 1.3V at maximum output current, which decreases at lower load currents. The reference voltage of the regulator is adjusted to 1% through on-chip trimming, and the current limit is also trimmed to minimize stress under overload conditions. The AMS2907-1.8-TR is pin compatible with other three-terminal regulators and is available in low profile surface mount TO-252(DPAK), SOT-223, and SOT-89 packages.
