The SP6132CU is a wide input, synchronous step-down switching controller optimized for high efficiency. It is designed for dual supply, with 12V step-down using 5V to power the controller, reducing power dissipation. The SP6132CU drives a pair of external NFETs with a fixed 300kHz frequency, PWM voltage mode architecture. It features protection against undervoltage lockout (UVLO), thermal shutdown, and output short circuit. This model is available in a space-saving 10-pin MSOP package.
