The Electronic Component Model 7908CT is a three-terminal negative regulator that comes in TO-220, TO-220FP, TO-3, and D2PAK packages. It is part of the L7900 series and offers several fixed output voltages, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. These regulators are designed to provide on-card regulation, eliminating distribution problems associated with single point regulation. Additionally, they have the same voltage options as the L7800 positive standard series, making them ideal for split power supplies. With adequate heat sinking, they can deliver over 1.5A output current.
