Description

The AS-003 is a multi-touch capacitive touchscreen and touchpad controller designed and qualified for automotive applications. It features a 32-bit ARM Cortex CPU and is configurable via registers. The device includes noise suppression technology for both EMI and display, as well as water and wet finger tracking and large object rejection. The AS-003 supports screen sizes up to 10.1 inches diagonal and reports up to 10 fingers, with fast first-touch response and refresh rates up to 80 Hz. The device has low power modes, including look-for-touch and deep-sleep, and supports a variety of touchscreen sensors and stackups. The AS-003 has both I2C and SPI interface options and is available in a 100-pin TQFP package with a 0.5-mm pin-pitch.
