The S869T(869)GS08 features the XceleRouter™ Technology for a high-performance and low-cost broadband gateway. The integrated switch engine & transceivers include five 10/100 transceivers and MACs, with 1P for WAN interface and 4P for LAN switching. It supports 100Base-Tx, 10Base-T, and 100Base-Fx modes. The on-chip SRAM serves as frame buffer memory, providing wire-speed switching. It also supports VLAN ID and 802.1p tag/untag options, MIB counter management, IGMP snooping, port-based VLAN, QoS/CoS packet prioritization, 802.1d spanning tree protocol, and more.
The S869T(869)GS08 has WAN/LAN/EMAC DMA Engines & FIFOs for efficient data transfers, while peripheral support includes one MII interface, 8/16/32-bit external I/O interface, eight general-purpose input/output (GPIO), two 32-bit timer counters, interrupt controller, and ARM922T JTAG debug interface. It also has power management features, a system design with a 208-pin PQFP package, and a reference HW/SW evaluation kit.
