Electronic Component Model: A80C188-16 is a 16-bit microprocessor that combines 15-20 of the most common microprocessor system components onto one chip. It is object code compatible with the 8086/8088 microprocessors and adds 10 new instruction types to the 8086/8088 instruction set. The A80C188-16 is available in different speed versions ranging from 12 MHz to 25 MHz. It has direct addressing capability to 1 MByte memory and 64 Kbyte I/O. This electronic component model is available in various packaging options including 68-Pin (PLCC, PGA, JEDEC A Package) and 80-Pin (Quad Flat Pack, Shrink Quad Flat Pack). It is also available in an extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C).
