Description
The RF2959TR13 is a single-chip transceiver specifically designed for IEEE 802.11b applications. It includes all required transceiver functions such as an LNA and downconverter, synthesizers and VCO's, direct conversion from IF receiver with variable gain control, quadrature demodulator, I/Q baseband amplifiers, and on-chip baseband filters. It also provides a QPSK modulator and upconverter for the transmit side. The RF2959TR13 comes in a small 32-pin leadless package and requires minimal external components. It has low receive current and utilizes a high-performance super-het architecture.
