Description

The A5358CLWTR is a low-current BiCMOS circuit that is specifically designed for photoelectric type smoke detectors. It is designed to cooperate with an infrared photoelectric chamber to sense the light scattered from smoke particles. The device fulfills the requirements of all of the features needed for a smoke detector. It can interconnect up to 50 units, so if any smoke detector senses smoke, all units will sound an alarm. The design of this device includes special features to facilitate calibration and testing of the finished detector. The device is intended for applications that comply with European Standard EN 14604 and British Standard BS 5446, Part 1.
