Description
The DS1232-S is a MicroMonitor Chip designed to monitor three important conditions for a microprocessor: power supply, software execution, and external override. It features a precision temperature-compensated reference and comparator circuit that continuously monitors the status of VCC. In the event of an out-of-tolerance condition, the chip generates an internal power fail signal, which triggers a reset to the active state.
