Description
The NM25C160LZEM8X is a 16,384-bit CMOS EEPROM with an SPI compatible serial interface. It is designed for data storage in applications requiring both non-volatile memory and in-system data updates. The NM25C160LZEM8X has a clock rate of 2.1 MHz and operates at a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V. It is organized as 2,048 x 8 bits and supports multiple chips on the same 3-wire bus with separate chip select lines. The EEPROM has a self-timed programming cycle and allows for simultaneous programming of 1 to 16 bytes at a time. It also features a status register for programming monitoring, write protect pin and instruction for hardware and software write protection, block write protect feature to prevent accidental writes, and has an endurance of 1,000,000 data changes. The NM25C160LZEM8X is available in 8-pin DIP, 8-pin SO, or 8-pin TSSOP packages.
