The Toshiba LP2301ALT1G is a high-output GaAℓAs light-emitting diode coupled with a high-speed photodiode-transistor chip. It is housed in the SO6 package. This component is designed for applications that require low input current and high-speed data transmission, with a current transfer ratio of 900% minimum over a wide temperature range of -40 to 125°C. With a transmission rate of 100 kbps, the LP2301ALT1G fills the gap between general-purpose transistor couplers and IC couplers that correspond to 1 Mbps.
