Description
Electronic Component Model:AS2572 is a data selector/multiplexer that contains inverters and drivers to supply full on-chip data selection. It is designed to interface directly with data lines of bus-organized systems. It can route a 4-bit word selected from one of two sources to four 3-STATE outputs. The DM74AS257 presents true data, while the DM74AS258 presents inverted data to minimize propagation delay time. This feature allows for the implementation of data buses with up to 300 sources and the use of standard TTL registers for data retention throughout the system.
