Description
The PVT312L is a solid-state relay that is designed to replace electromechanical relays in various applications. This single-pole, normally open relay utilizes the HEXFET power MOSFET as the output switch, which is driven by an integrated circuit photovoltaic generator of novel construction. The output switch is controlled by radiation from a GaAlAs light-emitting diode (LED) which is optically isolated from the photovoltaic generator. With a 4,000 VRMS I/O isolation, this relay offers bounce-free operation and load current limiting.
