It consists of various circuits like reference voltage, oscillator, error amplifier, phase compensation, PWM controller, under voltage lockout, current limit, and power MOS FET, which support high density mounting. The regulator uses a small number of external parts while achieving a high efficiency, large output current step-down switching regulator.
