The SP791CP is a microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuit that integrates a myriad of components involved in discrete solutions to monitor power-supply and battery-control functions in µP and digital systems. It offers complete µP monitoring and watchdog functions. The SP791CP is ideal for low-cost battery management solutions and well-suited for portable, battery-powered applications due to its low supply current of 40µA. Additionally, it has a 6ns chip-enable propagation delay, a 25mA current output in battery-backup mode, and a 250mA current output in standard operation, making it suitable for larger scale, high-performance equipment.
