Description
The ILD217T is an optically coupled pair consisting of a Gallium Arsenide infrared LED and a silicon NPN phototransistor. It allows for the transmission of signal information, including a DC level, while maintaining a high degree of electrical isolation between the input and output. The ILD217T comes in a standard SOIC-8A small outline package for surface mounting, making it ideal for high density applications with limited space. It conforms to standards for surface mounted devices and eliminates the need for through-hole requirements.
